Do you process film?Yes! We offer dip & dunk processing of disposable cameras and 35mm, 120, 4x5, and 8x10 film.

Do you return the negatives after processing film?Always! We know the great value negatives have in this digital age. We hold negatives for 30 days. During this time, we will call and email to remind you that your film is available to pick up. We are also happy to deliver or ship your film to you. But if pick-up doesn’t happen within 30 days, we will dispose of your negatives.

What will I get back when I drop off my film?All of our film services are “a la carte” so everything (processing, scanning, and prints) is priced separately. If you need prints or a digital copy of your film, please let our customer service representatives know at the time of drop off.

I live outside of Austin. Can I mail you my film?Absolutely! You are more than welcome to mail us your film or any other projects. You can send your film any way that is convenient for you (we receive a lot through USPS). Use our mail order form or include a detailed note of what you want to receive back, and we will get your order into production! Once the order is complete and ready to ship back, you will receive a phone call from our shipping department for credit card payment over the phone. We return ship by FedEx ground.

Do you have a darkroom for rent?Unfortunately, we closed our printing darkroom in 2016.

Do I need an appointment to meet with you?You do not need an appointment to place an order. But please contact us to schedule an appointment if you'd like a studio portrait or passport photo taken.

How do I get my files to you for printing?Send us your files through our online ordering system, by bringing in your files on a flash drive or CD, or by email.

How will I receive my digital files from you?We use WeTransfer to send you your images. We also sell USB drives for $10 in the shop if that is more convenient for you.

How will I know when my order is ready for pick up?We will always call or email you when your order is ready!

Do you offer order pickup and delivery?Yes! We offer order pickup and delivery (Monday-Friday) in the Austin area for $6 each way. Call 512-442-4274 or emailfor details or to schedule.

What is the turnaround time for my order?Standard turnaround time for orders is 3 business days per service. For example, if you have a photo that you would like to have scanned and re-printed, the turnaround time is 6 business days (3 business days for the scan and 3 business days for the print). Saturdays and Sundays are NOT production days for us, so please keep this in mind when planning your project. If you need something a little faster, we are more than happy to do a rush for you as our production schedule permits.

I have some photos on my phone that I want to print. Do you do that?Yes! Our ordering system is mobile-friendly - please visit print.hollandphoto.com to place your order. You can also send us files from your phone by email. Be sure to choose the highest resolution file your phone can create when emailing (usually “actual size” or equivalent). Modern phone image files can be printed as large as 16x20 in some cases!

I have a lot of family photos that I would like to be archived and made digital. Can you do that? How does it work?Yes! We do offer family archiving! Our cost is about $100 per 500 photos that you bring in. Please remove your images from any frames or albums to make the process go a little quicker for our technicians. When you drop off your project, you will be given a turnaround time estimate of 1 to 3 weeks depending on how large your project is. We will call you when your order is complete!

Limits of LiabilitySubmission of any film, slide, transparency, negative, file, disk, or any other material to Holland Photo constitutes an agreement by you that any damage or loss of submitted material by Holland Photo or its agents due to any reason or cause including, but not limited to negligence or other fault, is limited to the replacement of an equal amount of unexposed film. Except for such replacement, the handling of any such film or materials by Holland Photo is without warranty or liability. Holland Photo assumes no responsibility for the mounting or lamination of any item not produced by Holland Photo. Holland Photo is not responsible for negatives left more than 30 days and other work left more than three months.
